Why bother with USDM CRXs anymore?

What's the point when you can get a SiR / VT for similar money. When I see a high-mileage CRX with rust for $5000+ it's time to step back from the drugs and think about what you're selling.

Time to search in Canada where our money is doing rather well, or go search in the UK / Europe.

idk i have zero experience in the ones outside of the US but if youre patient you can find decent CRX's for under 5k i think. i just found my si for 1500 and its mint..
Patience is key regardless of where the car is. There are still excellent examples out there and many of them can still be had at a good price.

How rare is it to see a car that has a cage in in, but still a stock airbox...

In Japan not as rare as you would think. Most of the cages over there are seemingly useless bolt-ons, only good for cosmetic purposes and many tuners use factory airboxes.
So they'll bolt one useless thing on, but not another?

Makes sense.

Most CRX's up here in Canada are rusty. You won't find one that isn't, well at least not anymore. You should see
how rusty my parts car is...the rear bumper support mounts to the body are rotted, rocker panels have huge holes in them etc. The biggest problem is they salt the roads here which KILL these already poorly protected Hondas.

RHD cars belong on RHD roads, sorry.

The only CRX i'd buy would be an SIR from Europe.
