Hey guys, here's a question that comes up every now and then, but the answer is always changing. How many CRX's have you owned?
I've owned 4, as follows:
1986 CRX DX (black) 1996-1998
1991 CRX Si (white) 1998 - present
1991 CRX Si SE (silver, err, it will be again someday) 2001 - present
1991 CRX Si SE (silver) Feb 11, 2002 - Feb 14, 2002 (valentine's present to my gf). hehe
a CDM 1985 CRX Dx
a USDM 1987 CRX Dx
and now a CDM 1986 CRX 1.5 (was it called a 1.5 in canada in 86? cuz it has a 1.5 badge but i dunno if it was there from the factory) even though it's not a 1.5 anymore. so now i'm gonna need a 1.6i-16 badge, even though it's carb'd lol
Three were mine wholly, all of which were 87's. Gotta love those first gen's!
1) 87 DX. Junkbawks. Ended up burning a valve or something. Had it for about a year.
2) 87 Si Silverbolt. 2000 or 2001-Present. Presently getting its CRVtec swap squared awayish.
3) 87 DX Firebert. 2004-present. Carb'd slushbox that will eventually get an Si engine w/dual carbs and a mugen LSD 5speed. Somewhere down the line when Silverbolt is finished.
Honorable Mention: 2003-2004 1989 ZC'd Si that I bought from the Beave when he went into the army so that I could use it for a GRM car. Ghetto turbo'd, re-suspension'd, new tires and fenders, major ghettobodywork, POR15'd, placed 59th. Sold it back to him once he was done with basic and could have a car again.

I've driven a CRX daily for 17 years. As soon as I can find the right BMW 325iC for my wife my CRX is going into semi retirement. It'll be a sunny day only driver....
88 DX Automatic - rio red, 100% stock. Sold it and missed it.
90 Si - Rio Red - low miles, never wrecked, all original. (Pictured above in the CRX Community logo. Bought this one about a year after getting rid of the DX.
89 HF with B16. (Parts car) Bought it last year, and parted it out.
1. 89 hf my first car . and curent summer car.
2. 91 si red (parts car) still have
3. 88 si silver 263K
4. 89 hf stock primered gray 170 ish
5. 90 dx black mpfi 140 ish
6. 91 hf red for the most part 170 ish
7. 90 dx maroon stock 212k
8. 90 dx maroon (parts car)
also had a 91 dx hatch
i still have 1 2 and 8 and am looking for a 90-91 si any color but white with no rust.... doenst have to run can be wrecked in the front.

who ever said anything about 2nd gens being their favorite? because i'm quite partial to the 85 Si... you know... the fastest crx released in north america....

but i would love to get my hands on a 1988-1989 crx hf in very good condition with a nice price tag.(the 1989 crx hf i had is a rust bucket and needs way too much work.)
I have only had 1 crx- a 91 hf that i still have. bought it last year before i even turned 16. spent 600 bucks and all it needed was new tranny $$ a little rust but its all good. its going to be my ride to N11! i plan on buying an 88 hf shell soon and then a b18c5 swap courtesy of hmotorsonline. then comes jdm ef7 seats, 91 si door panels, and lots of CF i should start getting to work on it all this summer. until then youll have to guess what itll look like

Two years ago, I bought what would arguably be considered the least desirable CRX: '88 DX (blue)
But, I wouldn't trade it for the world (though I WOULD consider trading up a '90-91 Si).
Anybody besides me enjoy the rear LCA flex on the 88's?
