P.S. WTFH Cardboard? What was the dude thinking? And what happened to the gen one?
hi girly how you been ? not to bad actually just a bit of rust repair lol i traded my 98 si for it lol
the gen 1 got beat up by a cow and i said fack it

he used the cardboard as a backing and layered on the bondo lol

me wondering why he did such a thing

me once again wondering why

little bit of wheelwell work left and 2 holes and t6hen its clean up time bit of filler blocking blah blah blah and the drivers side is done sorta lol

Why would you even bother?
because im PBK buddy :)b  the rust was on the 1/4s and thats it from what i can see.so why wouldnt i ? rust doesnt scare me and never will regaurdless of the amount i'd take it on haha

um forgot to mention this car is a 90 dx or base model and an auto ,allso has a zc with fried rings leaking valve seals and valve cover gasket haha ,so i guess i'm going to have to do a manual conversion and B series swap one of these weekends ,i want to do a boosted D on my hatch so might just use my A1 on this car i dunno

wont be many updates as i work 6 days a week and nights but ill do what i can when i can :)b

how cheap cardboard and bondo....I always used duct tape and bondo ;) What are you going to do about that section between the quarter panel and door on the drivers side? anyways keep up the good work its looking good.
i made a template and will be trasfrering it to steel cutting it out and than making the inner curved part or the door jamb,i dont need to really but the metal has to be pretty soft there since the rust is so close

Hey mon, good to see you back!

Honestly, tho, I don't know why you don't just build a crx from scratch using random bits of metal from the backyard...(;

lmao u guys are funny :D

sooooo this crx has a zc in it ...or it did ,i was driving to work yesterday (hour and a half one way ) when the car started knocking hard .I was like thats not good, but lets see if i can make it lol.i drove about 20 more kms when she lost power revved down and died at the intersection in the city.

i pushed the car across to the shoulder and left it.Came back and it fired up but it was done for(throwing smoke and shaking.sooo i went for it,tried to drive it home and made it about 40kms more when she popped smoked alot and now this is where im at after towing it home and spending an hour on it or so

everything suspension wise has been yanked axles and all that jazz so pretty much the harness just needs to be unplugged

im allmost ready to yank it and i guess put my b18 in it for now

naa, theres 3 bolts that hold the mount to the trans, then one that goes from drivers side to pass. side through the mount. you should be able to get it out without touching the crossmember

ya i got those it was the backbolt that i couldnt get,so i just dented the firewall to fit a socket in there.i used a long peice of 1 inch rebar haha

so the engine is in... dented the area for the tranny mount bracket and the alternator torqued down the fidanza flywheel and got the clutch in place(cant find the last few bolts )  ummm the auto shifter junk is allmost all the way out, have to get under the car now for the rest i think haha. Allso am working on pulling the pedal assembly which is more of a pain than i thought it would be.i have it loose but cant seem to find the last bolt or 2 and its fucken tight in there ...allso cant find thingy mahjigger whatsama call it black box that plugs into the back of the block near the oil filter and i know there is one more thing that is with it some where ,like a mounting bracket for something but i cant recall where or what they were ,its been so long since i torethe motor down lol

allso how do you remove that nipple on the intaske manifold that right inbetween the 3rd and 4th runner ? i need to trasfer it over to the skunk2 intake

SO IM MAD well sorta another set back ...the intermediate shaft is hitting the block and i dont know why ? so i cut a chunk out of it and still doing it .are the shadts different from the auto to standard ? you wouldnt think so...but it leading me to think it theyre. i know the auto trans is alot larger but didnt think the axle positioning would be different, unless it isnt and the mounting bracket is just different. i dunno not impressed anyways, iwanted to get it on all fours today

since i have a wingwest front might as well fit that bumper i got for the hatch on this sucker (got another kit for the civic)

at the moment the bumper is in 2 peices.i will be making sure the fit on each side is good than doing some fiberglass work :)b( you know remove or add if i have too, looks very close though so thats nice lol
