Issues accessing crxcommunity.

Postby vtecn8ive » Tue Apr 23, 2013 6:55 am

When I'm using Chrome or Firefox it seems I am getting an issue accessing the site. This has been happening since last week. Something about bytes. It's a white page with like 2 sentences.

It happens sporadically. I just installed a Windows 7 (from xp) and still recieved the error. Chrome was not sync'd at that time either.

I use Chrome with Windows 7 and can't get to the forums at random intervals.

Issues are... "Internal Server error", 404 "Page not found", and generic "Can't connect".

If I go away and come back to it in a few minutes it usually resolves itself.

There are no problems with any other sites, just CRXCOMMUNITY.

Postby As I Conspire » Tue Apr 23, 2013 2:50 pm

sometimes when i try to log on i will get a "fatal error, not enough memory" message and it wont show me anything but a white screen and that message. it will show a large amount of "bytes". takes like a day to get back on. is it me or is it something with the servers.?

Never seen that error.

I do sometimes get "Internal Server Error" or "Page not found", or "OOOPS, we can't connect to CRXCOMMUNITY..."

I use Google Chrome, Window 7.

I've experienced the same issues. PM an admin to let them know, they will be the only ones to do anything about it.

The only one that can do anything server-side is crxfisher, but lately... trying to get him around is like trying to get a cat to stand on one leg.

Surprising I was able to use tapatalk to get on just now, yesterday tapatalk wasn't working, today no browser I tried would work. Sounds like to me whoever is hosting the site is having some issues with their computers running out of memory or their bandwidth being overloaded with other content.

I have not experienced any increase in "issues" and on the rare occasions I do have problems it's only for a few minutes. Generally the forums are pretty stable.
It really isn't anything to warrant major investigations by crxfisher or anyone else. The internet being what it is, and computers being what they are .... glitches are going to happen.

Doesn't happen with this site, but it does with thezcr.com. It's strange because it will error, but when I hit the bookmark again it loads normally. I think he fixed it already because it hasn't happened in a few days.

This used to happen to me back when I was browsing on a potato. Just error messegas and "error 404 - file not found" crap. Hasn't happened again since I've upgraded to a HP mini with W7/Chrome.

On the potato I'd just have to reload the page and it would be fine.

I get this everytime I try to visit the site using my iPhone (Safari Browser) now. Before I could clear my cookies and it would load, but not anymore.

I tried getting on from my Potato and I got the error message everyone is talking about.

Image

I'm no computing expert but this sounds like a bandwidth issue. I'm permanently logged in so I have no issues with my computer but when I tried to open the site on another device it give me the error message.

Funny thing is that I just sent a big chunk of change. Wasn't that supposed to be used for things like this?
