Question for the new admin.

Postby Lynx12304 » Sun Oct 13, 2013 1:14 pm

I've been on forums taken over by the same folks before. My only question is how long do we have on tapatalk before we're forced to use the [crummy] autoguide app? Nothing against you guys but I actually quit frequenting the other forums simply because I generally browse on my iPhone, and with tapatalk access restricted, the only other option is the auto guide app, which I absolutely hate. I understand updates are supposed to be on the way but the autoguide app is way out of date and generally a pain in the ass to navigate.

tl;dr
How long do I have left using tapatalk?

The old admin who soldout hasn't been on since 8/1 and the "new admin" hasn't been on since 9/11...looks like we are in the same boat as before... :rolleyes1:

As long as the bill is paid and we get left alone.

Maybe it's me, but since the "takeover", it seems we have been bombarded with more and more spam.
26 new spam topics just today.... :nay:

I noticed that this morning too. I was going to report them but I was on tapatalk and didn't feel like reporting spam instead of reading the forum.

I was on last night and reported them as they appeared. Guy was busy. And I believe there were more than 26 but I lost count.

It would be nice if "we" had a system that if a member is reported for SPAM, his (or her) account is automatically suspended until a mod can deal with the issue.

I noticed on the spam it has a really old date attached. I think I saw "1969". That would be very easy to filter.

Too many connections? So now we're going to have to ration out our visits to CRXC?

if autoguide takes over, someone just needs to start another crx forum. id even pay a small member fee to join ($1-$2). a small fee would keep all the thieves and spammers away for sure. the only problem is getting enough OG members to transfer over to a new forum. every forum that autoguide takes over goes downhill real quick.
