And my wife thinks I'm nuts keeping mine locked in a garage or always in my line of sight...

Yours too? I told her how easy they are to steal (in stock form). I also park at the end of the lot so I can have empty spaces on all sides. Don't need some idiot in a brodozer knocking in my side windows.

Advice:
Keyless entry, with Accord rear door handles (left rear to front right, etc)
"Armor" plate behind the door handle- aluminum works fine. Keeps them from punching through to the op rods.
Secret squirrel switches and relays to immobilize
Remove the wheel. I just put mine on the floor and lock the hub with the NRG kit. Makes me feel like a man.
GPS low-jack costs under 30$ and all you need is a sim card that can text. Has internal battery.
Alarm with pager

Thieves should be made to run backwards through the cornfield without pants.

Car has been recovered! Although, with a new "rattle can black" paint job. swapped wheels, and a fun sort of body damage to the rear from hitting speed bumps in a stiff suspension setup.

I may be in the market for an '88 CRX Si Shell to transfer my parts to, if anyone has a handle on one with a clean title.

Glad to here you got it back, but what a bummer about the damage! :( The paint looked so good in the photos you posted, thieves are idiots.

I'm just glad it didn't disappear over our southern border, where cars go to die. Pretty sure my first DSM I had ended its life that way after it disappeared out of my school parking lot.
