I'm sure very few have ever seen it :-)
Unfortunately (for you) I have 2-3 things I plan to never sell for the Crx and this is one of them.

Man thats awesome....Ive been looking for CRX models for years but alls I can ever find are the ugly first gen and there Chinese made that black model in the box is sweeeet where in the world did you find that? I cant even find matchbox CRX's anymore UNLESS you go on Fleabay and get raped with no lube. I cruise flea markets and hobbys shops and its slim pickings there. Alls I have is the brouchures from the Honda dealership that were in my glove box when I bought my car it had all the special add ons u could get with the '91 CRX when you bought it like the mud flaps, louvers, arm rest, rain guards, floor mats that kind of stuff. An I have all the buyers receipts I think the Si I have cost the dude like $11,000 brand new an he got every option an add on available at the time.

Here's a nice little article about it:

http://japanesenostalgiccar.com/2012/05 ... onda-cr-x/

Apparently it's based off a car in this manga. It powered by a rear mounted GC8 STI engine.

This fits perfectly with my love for Subies also.

I actually have some of that manga. It's called Over-Rev
it's pretty awesome. About a girl who buys an old mr2 and ends up racing it.
Kinda like initial D, but with a female star, and she kinda sucks at driving at first. XD

I'm more curious if those were actually from Honda. I have a few pins from Honda 1g, 3g Crx, and a newer Civic, but the one Crx one I have (like the ones you have posted) is of different quality and size.

Just seems odd they would alter the size/quality for the 2G.

I "heard" that they were given out at the 1987 honda event when they released the new models. CRX was their star then in the new line up and I'm guessing thats why they specifically chose to make those.

If you can post up some close-up pics of the light-blue one, I'll add that to the website. It looks like I have the rest of them listed already (aside from the silver/gold variants on the white and black ones, but I can add that as a note).

Also...if you can verify anything about the "official-ness" of the 2nd gen pins, that would be great.
