Sorry to bump, but I found a site filled with Tamiya, Fujimi, etc. brands of a ton of different model cars and a good selection of CRX's still being produced. Prices are low too, though I'm not sure how much shipping costs yet. I have a long wish list on this site already.

Here is my Christmas Present to Myself. Just came in today.

With the cost of shipping it ended up being about $37 and arrived in 7 business days. Cheaper than EBay.

I don't actually have this, but found this pic and wondered if anyone has seen this print ad before?

^That's actually an oem brochure. I've seen it pop up on Ebay a couple times.
I still need to add that one to my site. :hammer:

Interesting, I've never seen it before I posted it.
Looked more like a print ad to me instead of an actual Honda brochure.

Yeah it's pretty crazy how many CRX brochures there are.

I have a ton of them listed here
...and I still have at least another dozen+ that I have yet to upload.

I have all four catalogs along with both "bibles". I've bought pretty much all my books from Shane.

Anybody know if any of the model kits actually have the engine? I just got the Fujimi kit and there is no engine. Kinda lame.

As far as I know, none of them have the engine.
They're all basically the same kit, just boxed different.

But you can get the Revell Integra Type R kit, which comes with the b-series engine...

...and do a custom job on your CRX kit.

I used that Intergra kit to add an engine to an EG model that started years ago.

Yeah. I've looked into that. Guess I should just be glad they made a crx at all. And I am. :)

Have you checked out eightyone's honda motor kits?

I purchased the b18 kit to put into my crx model.. Had to do alittle bit of mods to make it fit but it looked great.

Oh yeah forgot they also offer these wheels too..

No this is the first I've heard of that site.
Checked it out and was what I was figuring someone had.
I may need one of those B series. :D

Look what I found today ! I was shocked !
The 1985 CRX actually says Mattel 2011 at the bottom.
In many months of searching and 10 Walmarts, this is the only 1 I found !

:D

I'll probably be selling quite a few of my sealed crx collectables. Ranging from pins, model cars, die cast and booklets, manuals and the super rare "EF Bibles."

If anyone is interested let me know, I have a lot of other things going on right now and will sooner or later upload everything in one list.
