I report spam posts and it takes hours for mods to remove them. Is this not ridiculous? I think you guys need more mods or mods that are on much more often. Hell if I had the ability to ONLY delete these posts I would, but I dont have those abilities.

I don't see it as a problem, they get to them when they can, and it would help if more ppl reported them instead of replying to them.

Every time I read this post I think about Monty Python.

When you report spam and see mods logged in yes it's ridiculous.

If you see an obvious spammer, should report ALL the spam posts by this person (bot), or is just one enough to get them all removed?

Report them all because maybe that will get a mod/admin attention. Reporting one usually doesn't work I have seen mods log in and not take the posts down.

The only problem with that idea is there's no way to implement it. Some text could be added to the terms of service, but people don't read that anyway.

Is there a way to pm everyone? when people see a pm usually they open and read it.

A system email could be sent out to all users. That many recipients would break the PMs.

The PHP software doesn't have a provision to send a PM to every member, which would mean 19,000+ messages sitting in someone's outbox. Don't get mad at me, I didn't write it.

I'd assume your local site doesn't have 19,000 registered users.
