This was more of a meet, than a car show. I am basically new to the meets and car show thing as well, and was the guy who originally picked the date.
My original idea was to get together on a simi regular basis, and cruise around on some scenic roads. Get a bite to eat, and come back around to the original starting point. Being this would be some kind of loop, people could jump in and out as is convenient. We can plan ahead and plan to stop at historical, or other interesting places.
Then someone said we have a meet every fall, just pic a date. So i did.
Being this is a meet, and not a show, and no monetary incentive, a large scale event doesnt seem realistic. Though if it were 70 and sunny, its hard telling how many might show up for a meet. Some have said over 40 one fall. But our luck brought us cool breezy with a 50% chance all day, and most people wont drive over an hr for a 50% chance.
I found that the only way to organize is to spend money. Ie.food, drink, door prizes and other gifts key chains stickers ect. Something that most honda enthusiasts dont have a lot of.
So if a small group formed a club as you stated, and each put in 20 a year, and so on, we could maybe attract people, but again it really boils down to what nature has in store on that day.
You got the wrong guy... I'm The Dude...man.
