NW3 Details

Postby kaminsknator » Thu Dec 24, 2009 5:47 pm

This years NW3 is going to be on the 25/26/27 of June

So i have been trying to find a campground near the spiral highway because that would have been fun to do. There were plenty of campgrounds but none with showers so i think this year NW meet is going to be held at.....

Farragut State Park
Friday night will be races over in spokane, its about an hour and half i think from the campground to the raceway and this night will be optional. Meet up friday afternoon sometime and set up camp and tents and everything. The races dont get over until pretty late so i would like to have everything set up so we can just crash when we get back.

Saturday will be the official start day of the meet. It will start at around 10:30am and will involve a group barbecue lunch. Meet and greet photo ops etc. A little later probably around 2 or 3 pm depending we can head a little south for a relaxing cruise around either the hayden or coeur d'alene lake. I'm thinking the hayden lake. There are a couple of dining places that we could go to for dinner either the porch or the boat house both are right on hayden lake and would be great. Then head back to camp to relax and sleep.

Sunday night would just be relaxing day at the park i know some people would need to leave early. They have a pretty cool disc golf course if you have ever done that it is fun. I know a little deeper in the park there is access to lake Pend Oreille.

Also right in athol is silverwood which is the areas largest theme park dont know what the interest in that is they are really pricey but fun i suppose.

Comments suggestions?

I should be able to make it, but I am not very interested in going to Spokane.

According to mapquest, driving from Boise on US 95 is:

Hey I showed up last year in my 86 3rd gen 1.5L dohc turbo powered hatch but this year I'll be rollin a white 86 Si CRX. I just picked it up from Nor-Cal so it's rust free. Iv'e been searching 3 years to find a white Si that was strait enough to start my build. Now I can put on all the rare parts Iv'e been collecting while waiting to find this car. Looking forward to the meet and hanging out with all that made it last year. :-)b

Ah sorry to here you may not make it Danielle. Well maybe you'll have to see if you can make down for the 5th annual RPR/ZCR meet in August. speedfreak76 over on RPR will be comming down from Lethbridge maybe you two could convoy down together. That one will most likley turn out to be a overnighter this year seeing that 3-5 people may be comming from out of state/country. I also plan on extending the invite to the Firstintegration group now that I know there at least 5 local members.
As far as starting a thread on my build, I will get on it when I start tearing into her at the end of Febuary. But hear is a couple of pics of her comming home so you can see what I'm starting with.
First is the tow bar set up I made off the original tie downs that bolt on.

Don't worry the front bumper is in the back of the truck. And here she is.

Ill see what I can do... but I calculated all my vacation time, and tried to figure out the things that take priority over the other stuff... and Idaho fell at the bottom of the list really quick. Unfortunately, being a maid of honour for my best friends wedding is taking A LOT of my vacation time, and the only way I will be able to make this is if I happen to magically get that weekend off.... and I work EVERY weekend already, so the chance are slim. :( . I can ask for it off (Unpaid leave of absence) But if any other girls @ my work want time off, then im SOL. :blabla:
