Got a few parts for it this yesterday...nothing high quality but ill get me through this year of autocross.
Bought a used ebay header on the cheap and boogerwelded the cracked welds....painted it and wrapped it. And got a set of stoptech drilled and slotted rotors with pads for $25 and i bought the cheap amazon exhaust (had it on my last one and it sounded good and lasted over 2 years before i sold it).

Lookin good! That muffler looks to be about one third the size of my eBay exhaust. You did mention sounded good, but still pretty loud?

I like the carbon trail on the old exhaust. Saw a chevy pickup with that down the door from the fender gap once

Put my race rims on today to check fitment and such...they look ok and will get the job done for a year or so..

They remind me of my old rims on my old rex

There is something so rewarding about removing sound deadening lol. I removed mine over summer now just waiting till I get some money to get my interior painted.

Also got my roll cage welded in...he took an ef hatch hoop and moded it to fit my rex. not a lot of pics of it right now it was late when i got in. Still gotta prime and paint it, but probably wont get done till this weekend. My door cards and sunroof would fit with it so i gotta make a plug for it and mod my door panels 2.

Looking good man.

What class are you stuck into with a roll bar/cage?

Thanks man. The swap would put me in smf or a preped class for autocross...ive run xp for the last 2 years in the vette and some other cars and weve got a good group of guys that run it so thats what im gonna run for in the rex. For Time Trials im gonna run SP (street preped) which is a south easter division thing. It esentially is a run what u brung class with only a few limitations...dash, dot required things, ect.

The tech guys told me I was smf and that's what I had on my car, but apparently they stuck me in ssm with the miatas and vettes.

oh well, two seater is the only logic I could figure. Time to strip weight or go boost!

u can run either really depending on what all youve got done. ssm smf xp and probably some other p class we also have a stm class here that is pretty much run what u brought as long as its on street tires. yea tell me bout it im running against a mach 1, ls2 miata, s2000, and a few others...its a tough crowd. im hoping to have it a 100 percent but it all really just depends on when i get my coilovers.
