they will slide into the clips but dont fit right with the headlights. could it be that the headlights aren't right or something?
What year is your car?

They slide onto the clip on the headlight, and then a screw goes from the tab on the sidemarker to a little tab around the headlight hard to describe. Ebay corner lights won't line up perfect, so I used a few washers (tape to hold them in place) to bride the gap. And then I broke the tabs off the corner lights, shaved them down, and applied some double stick tape (in my case, Servo Tape from a RC Car) where the clips where.

I can get pictures in a few hours if you'd like.

they dont fit because you have 88-89 headlights you see how on the headlight frame there are two spots for 88-89 corners to slide into and then they screw into the fender. there are two fixes.
1) buy new frames (90-91), swap out the actual headlights, and now your corners will fit.
2)buy new corners for 88-89, get new plastic things for the fender so you can screw them in.
the easiest in my book would be two. to remove the headlights you need to take the front bumper off and it can kinda be a pain in the neck.

well i think i will try to find new headlights or frames first, because i dont like how 88-89 corners look. and i already have the headlights out and didnt have to take the bumper off, but it does kinda of sag down a little maybe why.

Thanks!

^thats correct above
you dont have 90-91 headlights thats why.
90-91 headlights have brackets around the headlight so the corners can screw in.
i'll get pics of what your headlight brackets should look like.
Thanks for the pics, makes sense now. Do you still have the brand new corners? a friend is possibly looking to get some?

well i've been busy with school so not much of anything has gotten done, but thanksgiving break is coming up so i should be able to replace a couple parts (ext. door handle, possibly lights, door sash, & hatch struts) and look for headlight brackets.

here's a couple interior pics of the car...let me know if the pics are too big, on my comp. they show up that way but when i get on another they show up smaller sometimes...

Dude i wish I would've seen this post earlier, i had the exact same problem. The corner light on the drivers side screwed in fine but the the corner light on the passenger side had no place to screw in. The headlight didn't have the spot to screw in the corner light on the passenger side. So I cut off the 'bracket' and zip tied it on. Then I got aftermarket head lights and whatcha know, they had a place to screw in the corner lights! (the headlights before we're stock) I really wish I had some pics with the old headlights/corner lights so you guys could see what I'm talking about.
