Very true. You guys would probably laugh at me, I'm a born and raised southerner. Thin blooded I guess, I enjoy our 3 cold days/year here as a nice change of pace but I do not handle 32 degrees and below very well haha. I'm sure that's shorts and t shirt weather for you up in Montreal!

Yeah more than 20 degrees people are mostly in shorts/t-shirts haha!!

I hate winter but I can't change that, I'm not ready to move south

I actually spent a week in Quebec a few years ago. It was beautiful. We actually went into old Quebec I think? Is there a city called Quebec as well? Provinces confuse me lol

I do 3000km average with my crx per year, so don't be shy lol

Thanks man :-)b

That is not a lot either. I should drive it more I guess.

nvroutgund wrote:So much like for everything Im seeing... Sexy s2k, both crxs coming along nicely... I drive my crx 100 miles a day haha, thats 41000 km a year! It can handle it, dont be shy!

S2K is nice, but I like my EG more for some reason (in the looks department that is). S2K is just one of those cars you have (had) to own I think. That 9k rpm redline is just so much fun, steering is so spot on... Just an amazing piece of Honda craftsmanship :-)b

Winter months over here are like 7-8 months, not I chance in .... that I'm driving the crx through the salt :P

AlexCRX wrote:yeah but you have better weather in florida, no winters like us!

Weather here in the Netherlands isn't much better :(

I do  , just kidding, must be nice, having that weather all year through. But for some reason I do like the winters, just not good for a Honda :P

7-8 months of winter??? that's crazy!

Here we have like 4 months and that's more than enough!

nvroutgund: yeah the province is Quebec(QC), a province here is what you call a state in the US.

The capital of Quebec is Quebec city, that's a nice city 2:30hrs away from Montreal which is the biggest city of the province!

Yes of course I trust them, but its only parked there, safer there then when it is in a public car park or something like that.

Let me post some 1G CRX pictures, didn't to much the last few months to be honest, but really started working on it now.

First I took care of the dirty engine. Didn't like looking at it while it just sat there in the garage.
I already cleaned it up a bit in this picture.
Image

Now it is pretty much done, intake left to do.
Image

Also redid the entire engine harness. New tape, old one is to dirty and dried out to make it look good.
Image

Then a whole lot of nothing happened :P. But a few weeks back I decided it was time.
Quarter panel removed on one side.
Image

Image

Image

Missing some pictures here. But I had to redo the inner wheel arch as that was pretty messed up because of the rust. Removed the entire suspension.
Image

Here is the new panel test fitted to see if the wheel arch is okay as well as the bumper.
Image

Collecting parts and doing some smaller jobs on the side.
Dirt trailing arm, gonna clean that up.
Image

Some of the parts so far.
Image

Image

Image

ED9 brakes, should be a direct fit. Going a bit bigger and easier to find discs and pads for this setup.
Image

Decided to take out a new tail light, just making sure I don't mess anything up with this panel.
Image

New cylinders for the drums, old ones where rusted.
Image

Brembo brake stuff.
Image

Image

And of course some OEM parts.
Image

One of the arms back together with the Brembo stuff in place. Just need a new dust cap.
Image

Subframe removed and cleaned.
Image

Front bumper supports are pretty bad, rusted through, so removed and new material welded back in.
Image

Image

Image

Image

And behind the passenger seat. As you can see someone already tried fixing it, or at least cover it up:
Image

Right now I'm working on this. Front passenger side.

My man, I did not expect ANY of what I saw while reading your build thread. I need to take a second to catch my breath. Beautiful collection and love the fact that the Rex gets to be stored in a warm showroom over the winter, truly excellent. I'm guessing that by page 30, you'll have your NSX.

You're gonna love the EF/ED brakes on the 1G. Really improves braking from high speeds and even with a stock master cylinder, the pedal feels good.

Thanks, yeah not sure why they just welded a piece over it, made some effort but not enough. Oh well, getting it done in the end

I hope so, main reason I choose for these was the fact there are more options. And of course looks a bit, bigger fills it up nice behind the wheels. Hoping the booster/cylinder is enough (stock)

Been cleaning up some brackets/hoses/clips and put them back on the engine (mainly because now I kinda remember where it goes, and not losing parts)
