Good stuff bro... keep it going. What color are you painting the cp-f's?

CP-F's will be gloss black most likely or a dark matt gray if I can find the right shade. Decals will be white to bring out contrast. Keeping it simple. Doing them black only cause I hardly see them done in that color.

Okay that should looks nice. I was going to make one last attempt at persuasion against repainting them...but that sounds awesome.

To those following my build thread, I have put up a for sale thread. Link in signature.

To Vanrij, the color looks perfect to me that I had to copy a guy on the interweb. You could look it up since you cared. :tea:

I just googled black cp-f and you're right, they do look really good! :-)b It'll go well with your panda.
I also have a white crx, so i'm really looking forward to seeing it on your car.

I should have kept a closer eye on you... I have been searching for a double din center console for a few months now with no luck. If I'm going to give anyone anything close to $200 for a piece of plastic, I better make sure it's going to a community member. :x

On another note...can't wait to see the car put back together with those wheels man!

Exactly one month later, I got my coilovers from Fortune Auto. I decided to give this a go due to good reviews, fantastic customer service over at Fortune Auto and positive feedback from B53p. I'm looking forward to testing them out. Big thanks to Chris @ Fortune Auto for dealing with me and providing a smooth worry free purchase. Bought direct from them only because I'm in Asia. Otherwise you'll have to go through a dealer. Lets hope these perform to my expectations which I believe will do just that.
I went with the 500 series with optional Swift Springs 10kg(f)/8kg(r) for the eg chassis.

I had requested the decals because I wish to feel some minor graphics on my car and I didn't mind these on the panels. I asked Chris from Fortune Auto for them and said I'll represent them. He's a really cool guy that wanted to please a customer. So I asked for three each of the orange and green. haha.

I'm running the 500 Series with swift springs. Rates are the standard ones for the CRX. 12kg up front and 6kg in the rear

Lots of feedback on the FA500 coilovers is very much appreciated from all of us that are considering them for our next build.

As are MOAR pictures. :-)b

I read you already tested them briefly. I got them cause they seem reasonable for future upgrades depending on my needs as they change if any. Choosing rates was tough. So I opted for a good compromise. If it's still too soft in the rear, I'll consider upgrading the arb or swapping the springs from the fronts or get another set of springs for the rear. According to some feedback, they can last a reasonable amount of road mileage. And since I'm so far away, it should work out fine as long as I don't trash it out when roads quality is terrible at certain places. My concern is how often this will require rebuilds. Let's hope no complaints of deterioration within 3-4 years of road use. By then I might likely change its valving if it leaks to need new preferences anyways.

I also got them cause I found my Tein's SS were too soft before they blew out. I also preferred the option of adjusting the ride height without touching the spring perches. Which is why I took the chance of not getting the Koni/GC combo or other more established entry level options.

Although I wouldn't have full drop when lifted, it shouldn't matter too significantly since I wanted a pretty low center of gravity with plenty of suspension travel to spare. Hence opting out helper springs.

Once I test it on track and evaluate road worthiness, I'll be sure to share my thoughts.

Here she is, my dirty girl. Forgive the camera phone picture. That's all I got. Installed two other components too. Guess what they are.
PS: don't mind the stickers, just giving Fortune some exposure on my part of the world.

Fresh! I really like it. I ended up with the same spring rate after trying a couple sets out on the FA500s.

I need to adjust the height. -1' lower front and back and it should look better. That's the lowest I can go decently here. I need to add more preload on the front too. Occasionally makes noises.

I'm surprised how well it dampens humps and the adjustability is indeed as advertised. Each click is noticeable. I've just been playing roadability on the soft side. Never needed to go more than 7 clicks from full soft. I'm at 3 clicks rear and 5 in the front from full soft.

That's her present ride height.
Presently looking out for:
Hardrace full bushing kit.
Possibly consider a Recaro or Bride full bucket seat.
That's it at the moment.
