It's a poor local copy. Fit is ok. Edges aren't great. Surface is far from perfect. It might get painted one of these days to fix the surface but because it's quite flexible, I don't know if I should. I wished I spent more for a real one.
I know a lil birdie who sells genuine j's frp hood you might want to consider. I just couldn't afford them now.

I would have done, but even the genuine has very poor fitment issues.

Yeah. Something happened in photobucket. Heaps of pictures gone forever.

This is a jdm$hit j's polyurethane. Bought it from B53P.

I recently bought another pu lip from ebay for my spare bumper. Have the exact molding flaws as the jdm$hit pu.
It's really rough, you'll have to sand it down patiently.

I love this lip... It's indestructible. Ramps whatever, it'll flex away and scruff very little. Don't paint it and you'll be happy with it.

Just checked. My second lip purchased from ebay is kdb. The molding is identical to jdmsp$hit.
Have a small lump, molding marks and some dimples. Sand them right off and applied some trim dress up product and its good to go....

Oh cool, I am glad you guys addressed this lip and we know someone that has it and can review.

I've been eyeballing this as well to stay in the PU family.

Looks good. I strongly considered that hood before I parted out my CRX. Keeping a turbo B20V cool was a challenge. Glad to see it works for that purpose. Do you plan to paint it body color? I had intended to color match if I did end up with a hood like that. Curious to see how it looks in white.

I would actually buy that PCI kit both front splitter and side skirt. But, it's just too impractical to justify driving with those in my area and would just be a waste of money. Though I might actually reconsider down the road. I was planning to do a front splitter but decided to put it on hold until track day comes. I will use a quick release for the splitter when I actually buy the material and it's on the to do list this year.

I face ramps like these everywhere here. The front lip kisses the ground daily. The mid section of my exhaust scrubs speed humps everywhere too. Have to do the snake maneuver and it's getting old.

Respond to Jfrolang's invincible post: For the knock off bonnet, it won't see paint until this piece is trashed from small chips or weathered in the sun for a good period. It flexes so I'm concern about the finished paint cracking. I have seen painted ones and I think it looks nicer. Unfortunately, I don't have a picture of them painted yet.
