Really long build. :D

Btw, are those bracets bolt on, or do you need to drill holes? :?:

CRX is looking good! I know how it is to wait so long to drive it. Looks like you've got a great collection of parts in the mean time though!

Those black K1's look exactly like a set I used to have a few years ago, my friend even plastidipped them white after I traded them to him! Where did you pick them up if you don't mind me asking?

The fender braces need to have a hole or 2drilled on each side. Yea it's been a long 6 1/2 years, every time I sit in it or start it up I fall in love with this damn car all over again... I have brought it soo far from what it was when I bought it.

I picked them up from a guy that was from Brattleboro Vt. So I'm your neck of the woods actually. They were
Black but have the replacement Kosei sticker on them. The guy I bought them from had them on a black 98 hatch if I'm not mistaken.

My tires came in! I'm looking at ordering an Autopower roll bar.

haha no way that's my friend Kris! I helped him put his coup together this summer. Those really are my old wheels, they were on my 99 hatch before his, and a white EG coupe before that. Small world man.

Yeah I threw one on the crx just to see, it fits but it makes the brakes look way too small. 15 or less is the way to go on this car. I'm from Dummerston VT, the next town up from Brattleboro, my girlfriend actually lives in Greenfield so I'm there all the time!

Just priced the Autopower roll bar and it's going to be between $730-$760 shipped... So now I'm trying to find one in the northeast forsale used. I think I'll pick up the innovative traction bar in a couple weeks.

Went and started my car and pulled it out of the garage and turned it around. Started right up. I can already tell the Hasport mounts are pretty stiff, I couldn't tell if my exhaust was making all the noise or if it was vibrations from my mounts. I'm going to order my innovative comp traction bar tomorrow, I had to notch my subframe pretty bad to fit in the oversized mishimoto fan. I'm going to attend track days and autocross events with a couple buddies this year so I feel like the innovative bar is a good investment.

Thank You Shorty! You've always encouraged me to stick with it.
Right now I'm in the middle of the carbon fiber sunroof swap. I have an civic hb HKS Sport exhaust on the way, the Thermal R&D is way to loud for my liking. I also have a y8 head that should arrive today. I plan on doing a mini me and putting my skunk 2 intake manifold and throttle body on that and getting it tuned. But the mini me is a project for next year. The wife want ls me to stop spending money on the Crx

When she married you, she had to know it was a three way relationship... My wife doesn't even question it anymore, as long as the bills are paid my Rex gets her attention

What he^ said.

I know how it is though. I have been putting my car on the back burner for the last year. My wife is a Nurse student and that is not cheap. Also we have been hosting exchange students for the last three years and children of any age are not cheap. Good news, the TL will be paid off mid to end of year! = More money for Betsie!

I can't wait to get it on and hear it! My Y8 head came in yesterday. It looks like it's pretty clean I might try to find a local machine shop to port and polish it. I was thinking about putting new valves and springs in it too.

Exchange students must be fun though! My wife and I are planning on going to Cambodia again next summer. So these recent purchases will be the last ones for a little while. We are also trying to save for a house. That's the major reason she's on my case we live in an Apt. and we need to take the next step.

Its good to set goals! We are still trying to figure out where we need to be before we buy a house. I love the island but there is no industry here for my wife and I.

We have some Khmer friends. I always wanted to travel through Asia. That sounds fun. You know that you must rake lots of pictures or else it did not happen, right?

Got my carbon sunroof installed, did a couple Other small things. I have driven it 250 miles in the past 5 days! Such a big difference then it staying in the garage for 2 years! Also visited Lou'z Custom Exhaust today in Worcester and had my HKS Sport exhaust installed! The difference between the Thermal R&D and the HKS is night and day. The HKS is silent until around 4,500 rpm's. It looks great as well, well at least I think.
