Hehe Thanks Phil! Excellent news! So you guys are settling in! It was part of my master secret plan that you guys would get an opportunity to move back to AZ!!! Haha Very curious about the upcoming swap! The only thing that makes me nervous about that motor is or if there is any increase in motor “vibration”. Cant wait to collect your thoughts.

Thanks. I have to thank a lot peeps here on this website for the inspiration for me in the beginning. There are a lot of great looking CRXs here and owners to match. I recall getting fired up when I brought the CRX home and what I wanted to do to get it up to speed. I am only half way through too! So for the areas I have conquered, I want to make sure I keep the same level of detail/cleaniness up so the car looks complete.

Nice Peeps!

Passed emissions recently so no issues there...

In order to register the vehicle for next two years it comes to $31.27 total. Not too bad.

My buddy with his new ILX has a one year tab of $431.

I wont complain...

Picked this up the other day off of eBay. Have a few cars that this will assist when the time comes... Never hurts to have one around.

Does that only work for the trailing arm bushing?

As far as I know, yes. Honda/Acura '88-'01. I believe that there is an "update" for the DA Integras. May need to look into that just to complete the set.

How much did that cost you AZ?

I need to do some RTA Bushings on both CRXs. Looking at 50 USD just for my HF.

$90 USD shipped. Apparently, it was only used once and I believe it. Looks brand new.

Let us know how it works. I have seen people make homemade tools that look similar and they were all sorts of dangerous in operation.

Anyone else having trouble accessing the website?

I am getting a lot of access errors which lead to dead ends...

I believe my PM box number count just got multiplied by a factor of 3 as well.

And on that note, today is the 4th Anniversary of owning Mango Bango!

I flew up to northern Cal to buy him from Dave and drive him back to Phoenix! 4 years goes quick!

Yes, since about two days ago, no access to pages unless you click on user profile and dig through threads/post or use Tapatalk to get around known issues; very odd workaround.

Apparently, I believe CRXFisher who I wrote, said that "new admins" altered something that halted access for everyone; not just members.
Still no idea why this hasn't been resolved or put into priority. I didn't think much in till I realized how long this has gone for.

Anyways, the build is seriously flawless! I'm just now ordering parts to fix my ride and start tracking down how it wears out or is in shape... Really like how you got yours all dialed in for inspection.

I was thinking about buying one of those tools. When I replaced the bushings on the hatch, I used the sledge hammer method. I think that I must have installed them to different depths. I measured them, but it is hard to get an accurate measurement because of the curves in the arm.

Looking good!!

Thanks! How long does it take with using a BFH on the bushing? I heard it could take up to 60 min but I find that hard to believe... This tool makes it seem like it comes out quickly.

Minor updates…

After swapping the fuel filter, I pushed on and started nosing around the awful noise coming from the suspected A/C idler pulley.

Order this:

Going in… hehe

It really is not that hard removing the old pulley and installing the new one.

All done and buttoned back up:

Night and day difference at idle. Car is as silent as it should be from idle to redline. Win win…

For added fun, the steel faceplate arrived so I went after the climate control.

The crack:

The fun begins

Climate Control removed…

Mocked up steel faceplate

Sit and wait for the initial JBWeld to set… then weld the faceplate to the climate control…

Brought in the compressed air gun and cleaned house now that everything is removed. Found Dave’s old CA DL that he appears to have lost. Thinking about swapping decks at some point. Would really like to be able to plug in a micro thumb drive and go instead of dealing with CDs.

That climate control is broke! Good to see you'll have it fixed. I've been thinking of doing the overlay on mine since its has crack in it. That or the accord climate control swap. We'll see, i'm not to worried about it right now.

Heh, I don't even remember losing a CDL! Must have been after I got the new license.

I guess the climate control couldn't deal with the AZ heat. I don't remember it being cracked at all when I owned it.
