I got rid of all my d series stuff a decade ago. The engine is a jdm spec 2000 B18C (R) i got for my em1 project, but decided to use in the crx instead. The tranny is a true YS1 vtec tranny (4.4 FD), the car had a B series in already, so this will go right back in. All swap parts are high quality and should very nice in the car. It will be pushing 215hp with the new setup, pretty much double what the car came with, but it's all motor, and reliable.

I am retaining a/c, and cruise, plus it has power locks and oem power windows too. It should be a great ride when completed

Speaking my language! The R with the YS1! With A/C! Reliable 200+ hp setup! Very nice.

Sounds like a perfect plan (and CRX.) Keep up the good work. As soon as my d15 goes out I am heading in the exact same direction. :-)b

Spring is here, time to get the ball rolling again! Found a very rare 5zigen Border exhaust. Took pics only of the axle back here, true jdm, and a quality piece at that

Any chance you found that exhaust in BC? That might be my old exhaust... I had that system years ago, ordered from Japan through A&J Racing back in the day!

A&J, i haven't heard that name in a while!

The cat back came from a good friend and crx buddy of mine who bought that on about in 07-08, not sure he got it shipped from. He never ended up using it, sold it to me for almost nothing, $100

Nice. It's a great exhaust I loved mine, sounds great. That's a killer deal, I paid north of $700 for mine back in the late 90's. If the system is new and you want to use it with a standard North American Cat, keep in mind you will have to shorten in two places.

The only reason I got rid of it was because my Scorpion Cat-Back is even nicer!

Well, checking in, been to long since I last posted. I bought a new house later last year, this being my first summer and I was a busy guy getting things organized with my Crx not getting any attention then, just resting. The good news is that the garage is a 28x30 which allows ample room most of the time to do things!

I had some parts for my reassembly stored, but got them out yesterday. I picked up the oem ef8 shift linkage I sourced out years ago, nothing like and oem piece for perfect fit and function. Installed a double bend b&m short shifter and some new engery shift bushings to keep things tight.

Got the oem carpeting back and cleaned up ready to go back in.

Lastly, I fitted the front bumper quickly for the first time since the car had been painted. Turns out in the mix, my front support bar is now missing so I will have to sort out another, but the bumper itself did line up nicely being held up the the front end
