Looks great! Much better fitment, the front end, than you see on most CRXs these days. The blade silver an JDM front make me want to get mind done.

Yeah, I love the blade silver, but I am still not super happy with the fitment on the front end. I really want to get an oem siR hood and color match it so I can really have the clean look I am going for!

I just figured out how to tweak that front end to fit. It's a pain in the ass but I'll get some pictures up soon. Do you have the ef6 ef7 t bar?

I believe mine is an ef7, but I am not sure. it was on the parts car I bought. I am actually looking for another one because it isnt in very good shape.

Also, I was able to take a drive today since the weather was awesome here in Oregon!

Sorry for not updating in forever! I have been very busy due to moving and the holidays and didn't have a lot of time for the CRX. But, that brings me to the big update!

I am no longer daily driving the CRX!

We recently moved into a new house and the CRX is finally in the garage. In other news, I picked up a new daily driver!

Image

It only has 147K original miles and the interior is perfect! Best $500 I have ever spent!

Two EFs are better than one! 8)

Thanks! I have always really liked them and I got super lucky at work and couldn't pass it up. I plan on doing a stance build on it because it still has such a fresh stock motor. That way I can have the best of both worlds!

Alright everyone, big news! The CRX has been dormant in the garage lately, but I have been slowly amassing parts for what is to come. I am going to have to change the title of my build thread soon because I am starting my b20b turbo build!
I plan on doing a t3/t4 turbo setup which is being custom fabricated by a local friend of mine. Power goals are a reliable 250 whp on less than 10lbs of boost. I will also be upgrading to Koni Yellow struts and some other small stuff which will hopefully all be completed within a month!

i really like how your car looks lowered but its not really that low from these pictures, is it because it's 16" wheels?

how many finger gap is front and rear fenders and what size width is your rims plus offset, and lastly what size tires?

Nice! You should consider b20v ;)

The konis are nice too. I have a set on my car with gc sleeves. Rides like its on rails.

I have been going back and forth between the two for a while and just decided that I want to go with the turbo because it is about the same cost, but I get a lot more out of it.

I love the 16s because they allow me to get the look of a lower car and eliminate the wheel gap, but the car is still high enough off the ground to be functional. The wheels are 16x7 and +45 offset with 205/45/16 tires. I do plan on stepping up to a 215 width tire though because I would like to get more grip.

Finally time for an update! Sorry I have been taking so long. I am currently amassing parts for my turbo build, but in the mean time, I decided to upgrade my suspension!
New Koni Yellows with Ground Controls
Image
I also came accross some Function7 lower control arms for a steal, so I picked those up as well.
Image
I totally installed them, then realized that my factory sway bar does not fit without new hardware because the holes are not pre-threaded. But, I think I am just going to get an ASR rear subframe brace since I have it off.

I also got tired of how stock my civic looked, so I decided to make use of the old suspension from the CRX and I am very happy with it as a daily driver!

I am loving the way this thing handles with the new suspension! I had to take it out for a drive today because I have to drop the fuel tank for the new fuel pump and I really didnt want it to be full of gas. lol
Anyway, here are some pics I took while I had it out today!

Function vs Form!

I also got a couple more goodies. First, I found a seller who seemed to make some pretty clean looking spark plug covers for the non-vtec b series engines and picked one up. I think it really cleans things up!
Image
Image
Also, my friend moe at EFparts.com hooked me up with a sweet deal on this little gem!
Image
I have been thinking about getting one of these for a while and I am really stoked to see how it looks and feels

But, the big update is that my turbo and manifold finally came in!!!

The crx is with my turbo builder for a little over a week, so I decided to do some work to the civic. I installed my vr6 lip, my OEM rear splash guards, the old rack from my crx and I color-matched the front bumper!

Alright, so it is finally time to update everyone on the Turbo build! Sorry that I haven't posted in a while, it has been a long process, but things are just about finished! Anyways, picture time!
For starters, I wasn't sure weather or not to get a new traction bar. I have decided now that I will upgrade soon, but for now I just had to cut mine

I am going for a more sleeper look, so I decided to paint all the piping and the intercooler black. I am super happy with how it turned out!

Things should be officially done within the next few days! I am taking it along with my sedan up to HondaFest NW in April!
