Wheel Bearing preference?

Postby Gophat » Mon Feb 06, 2017 9:55 pm

I am ordering bearings because my car has sat since 2010 and they are noisy. I usually get KOYO brand for my other cars but what other brands are recommended for a CRX. I heard Timken, which is FAG or NSK, depending on the manufacture cycle are pretty good but I installed one and after a week it was wobbling around. KOYO over here are 85 a side in today's price. National is Chinese manufactured as well and now I am confused as to which would be a quality pick. Not saying chinese is bad or anything but they have plastic holders and in the boat trailer world they steer clear of any plastic infused bearings.

I will most likely pull the trigger on the KOYO made in japan but the price is nuts.

Original Honda is NSK.

Any Japanese bearing is good. Nachi, Koyo, NSK, etc.

I will head to the dealer and buy from them. They were actually pretty cheap.
