Best Suspension setup for Daily Driver?

Postby guardian003 » Mon Apr 03, 2017 9:41 pm

So im looking into buying aftermarket suspension for my 88si since the oem shocks are shot most likely. What would be a good budget setup strictly for a daily driver. Are the tokico blues any good since they dont cost too much.
Thanks in advance

What about this kit?

I'm a fan of bilstein shocks on new stock springs, best daily driver combo for the north east

edit: so cali should be great!

H&R or Neuspeed "SofSport" springs on fresh OEM style replacement dampers, or Koni STR.T Orange shocks.

Can't comment on the Bilstein's even though they are made 5.2 miles from me, and for the record I build transmissions for the Koni CRX...

Eibach Prokit springs and either oem style or Koni sport shocks or some adjustables. I'm running the prokits with kyb agx shocks on my daily and it's a decent ride with stable handling. It had H&R sport spring on it but they were too soft and low for a daily and the rear tended to bounce down the highway and never felt stable
I like my women like my CRX. Short, sexy, and with a rear end that makes you say "I bet she handles like a dream"

Stock springs and shocks for a daily driver, IMHO. The car was nice when stock, especially for daily driving duties.

VTEC is Honda's "select a cam profile on the fly" system; VTECH is a crappy phone.

Does anyone have experience with skunk2 full coilovers?
Seems like they are easy to install and the price sounds like a good deal
