A/C removal question

Postby Tasos_7R » Mon May 01, 2017 3:07 am

Hi guys,

I'm removing my A/C system from my VT and i'm not sure where to plug the radiator fan, since the plug was on the A/C loom. I made a quick sketch to show you what i mean:

Image

I'm removing the whole A/C loom so, should i plug the yellow male plug that's on the headlight loom on to the green female plug on the the radiator fan??? Also on the A/C loom there are 3 relays. Are they all for the A/C or one of them is for the radiator fan??? Should i make a new loom to connect the radiator fan???

Thanks,
Tasos

plug both fans back, now remove coolant temp sensor(by thermostat. its 2 wires), jump the plug and start the car. whichever fan is spinning that is your radiator cooling fan.
make sure fuses are good and fan are good as well and connected.

if they don't start make sure you are using the right harness. there is a a plug by the driver side headlight conected to one fan as well. iirc
