I tried to google this but all that came up was people whining about their metal shift knob getting too hot to touch during the day
My question is.... I took the old shift boot off of my crx because it was trash, I gotta get a new one. Anyways, when I shift I usually put my hand on the shifter rod (or whatever you call it) that holds the shift knob and it gets pretty hot? Not unbearably hot but pretty warm, I didnt know if that was normal, a sign of trans problems, or because the shifter bushings (or whatever) are shot?
Weird but anyone have any ideas?
