thermostat

hi back again the gauge on my thermostat does not work now i don't know if its that my thermostat needs to be replaced or if its something else all the fuses have been replaced any help would be awesome would love to know how how hot my engine is getting

again i drive a 1986 crx dx

thermostat doesn't have a gauge.

I think he means the temp gauge.

Your actual thermostat isn't connected to your gauge cluster; it just opens or closes to control water flow. There should be a temperature sensor near it, though. Insert a pin or jumper wire and ground that wire whilst the key is turned "on" but the engine isn't running. If your gauge suddenly reads hot, your sensor is bad.
I got a new shell, just need to stop driving the DX so I can work on it.

I've got a filter for my mouth, it just isn't a good one.

Before Google we had the Dewey Decimal system. One or two simple questions will tech them to search better rather than ask for lazy handouts. About 20-25% understand it, the others are pissed off and protesting that trump got elected even though they were too busy to bother to vote.

20 years invested, still learning.
