No you can't, unless you want to put a lot of time and work into it.

Since this is a FAQ, maybe it should be posted that the 1st gen (84-87) and 2nd gen (88-91) are totally different cars. They only share the same name, and nothing else. Asking if ANYTHING will interchange is the same as asking if parts from a Prelude will work.
91 CRX Si (hers)
89 Civic Si (his)
01 Toyota Highlander (hers)
07 Toyota Tundra (his)

Actually, there is one relatively significant item that can be swapped between the two generations of crx. The seats! Direct swap.

:umno:
2nd gen seats don't even interchange and swap within the generation.

The seats from a 2nd gen with pillar-mounted seat belts will swap into a 1st gen.

I know, thats why I thought it was worth mentioning that the two generations of crx share the same seat pan bolt pattern/locations. And both have seats that are designed to be closer to the floor than the regular civic, so you wont mess up your sitting position like if you swapped to non crx honda seats.

They don't share the same seat bolt pattern.
Seats from 89-91 Crx with door mounted belts, will NOT bolt up and fit.
