Ugly 89.

Postby Crxtremecrx » Sat Feb 18, 2017 8:23 pm

I picked up this beauty for only $1200. Its a 89 Si. Its running D16A6 with t3t4 eBay kit. I am doing a obd1 ecu. I just took the head off today to start doing the arp studs for protection. I learned the head has had a nice cleaning and angle job. Also found it had rods and piston. I have also changed a few crap eBay parts for better. I was hoping for 10psi now I am looking for more like 15psi.

lol, maybe it's just me but I would assume that any running engine has rods and pistons LOL

Or maybe you meant upgraded rods and pistons

Yes I found out someone upgraded the pistons and rods. Just more insurance not to blow up the motor for me. Should be going to the dyno in a week or 2
