Safe turbo boost

Postby Crxtremecrx » Mon Mar 06, 2017 6:40 pm

I am running a d16a6 with a t3t4 turbo. The block has vitra piston and rods. The head has a valve job but looks to be stock. I am not sure what psi/hp I am shooting for on this setup. I don't want to push it. Just really want it above 10psi

It's a D-series, just keep cranking it up until you need to replace it lol. If you don't want to spend the money to get it tuned, then blow it up and learn that way.

Detonation is what will destroy a motor, so let the tuner do his thing. If you want more boost, add a flex fuel sensor and get tuned on E85 as well as 93oct. Then you won't have to worry about mixing and/or a bad tank of gas.
