turn on heater with an on/off switch.

Someone on FB asked this and seems like it would work wonderfully for me since I have no ac. Is there anyway where I could turn on my Heater with an on/off Switch and on full blast? Without having an the climate control anymore? Anyone done this?

cool idea. i would think its possible, the fan control obviously gives power somewhere, you would need to wire that to the ac switch. someone better with wiring schematics should be able to help a lot more than me

When you say without having the climate control, you mean no temperature selector even? How are you going to switch from hot to cold, fresh air vs recycled?

If your temperature selector was electrical it would be possible.

If someone wants to post up the helms diagram for the fan switch, I'll list out the connections you'd make.

Could be useful for remote start so you don't have to remember to leave it set up when you park the car.
