Radio doesn't turn on?

Postby luis_88 » Sat Aug 15, 2015 10:42 am

Today when removing my stereo, I noticed the black wire and believe the yellow wire touched causing a spark. As I connected everything back and turned the car on, the radio would not. I checked all the fuses and they were good and still nothing, any idea guys?

Replace and recheck ALL the fuses associated with the radio.
A fuse can be bad, but not show it "popped".
Is there anything else that doesn't work now?

Only other thing I noticed was the clock isn't on either, but I cant remember if that was already off. I'm see if I can find my continuity tester to see if I'm getting power

The clock, stereo and dome light are all on the same 15A fuse.
Replace that fuse, even if it doesn't look bad. Be certain you are replacing the correct one.
