It's really annoying having to go through and open up every single post (almost) just to check where the person selling lives. I only want to go so far from the house to pick up a car. There should be a place next to the post date and name of the poster where it lists their location. Why bother having to list it in the post if we could just have it seen before we open the posting?? Please tell me I am not the only one that is thinking about this...

You know... it's a place to write recommendations. I would like to see a location listed like TheLukeMartinez posted. That is my preference. Sorry that it's such a big deal to you. It makes things easier. That's what the people who run this site want... to have it run smoothly for it's members. And as a member, I think that this would make everyone's life easier. And I'm sure if it went into effect that EVERYONE (including the people whining about how simple it is to click it to view it) would enjoy that slight improvement. There are a lot of people in the world that do not have "8g wireless internet streaming 24/7 to their phone from everywhere in the world". People use slow computers and slow connections. And clicking post after post just to view if a car (or whatever else) is even in the same STATE as you... gets time consuming. I would rather be spending my time driving my car or commenting on a forum, not viewing post after post of things to find locations.
BUT, then again, there'd have to be an option to view all instead of by location. I've never bought anything from someone on here locally; yet alone not even the same state. Let's just face it, not that many people have taken the time to read the classified rules. :bounce:
I don't have the coding chops to implement something like this. I don't see any PHP mods for it either. The closest I found was a request for such a mod on a PHP support forum, but with no resultant solution.

I figured that it was not something you guys could add. Because it's something that people MUST have thought of before. Just wanted to bring it back up to see if someone knew a way to add it or something that would work similar. Oh well.
