Hello all!

My name is Nicolas...

Just found this forum on the web, so I stop by to say hello and show you my ride...
I own this car for 4-1/2 years now, and bought it with 215000km from the 1st owner. Now located in east of France, I started to work on my car 2 years ago, replacing rear fender corners by new parts in metal instead of repairing this with fiber. I also welded hand maid side skirts on both sides, as the original parts turned into rust many years ago (nice weather in France, as you can imagine...). Now the body work is done, I have to spray some anti-rust product on the car, and wait for some money to get a nice paint job done on...

By the way, I found a DOHC D16A9 engine (original engine on this car, which equals to the ZC Si in US I guess...) with only 100000km, like new... :-D

I replaced the engine, worked on timing belt, clutch, exhaust, suspension, chassis and other equipments. The car got 4cm lovered with brand new suspensions. I installed OEM exhaust line, with 4-2-1 stainless steel header on, and MOHR (made in Germany) rear silencer.

Interior is in good shape, I just replaced the driver seat, installed a SiR steering wheel, carbon covered a central part of the dashboard, as you can see on pictures...

Also (but not on pictures, which are pretty...old) I installed Sir alloy wheels I painted flat black.

I will be back soon with new pictures, but... here is a few for you...

Thanks for your comments!!! This car originally comes with power windows, power opening roof,no ac,no power steering.color is the original dark grey available in france.basically, you were able to choose between silver gery, dark grey, red, black and white.blue was available for the 1.6i-vt,equals to the sir, with b-series engine. I will post some more pictures as soon as possible. I could be intetested in us parts,as odometer, rear tail ligjts with side markers for example, but this looks amazing... Some french people looks for us parts, and some us people look for edm parts, haha!

Welcome to The Community.
Haha, thanks! hands off, that's right!! I will post some more pictures later... I do not have some in stock here.
By the way, I bought low-mileage steering, new regulator for the ignition system, and different other parts this week. Hope this will solve the problem I encounter... like a cracking noise in the steering turning left and right, with low speed (5/10 mph.). Some more job to do on, and after that, a nice cleaning with black plastic parts repaint. Car will look better, but final step would be a partial repaint (doors and rear fenders... also hood... mmmh, maybe a total paint would be more reasonable?!?)...

But I have to take car of my other oldy, a 1972 Ford Gran Torino Sport fastback I bought...in California ^^
Thanks ebay!

Welcome to the site man... I love EDM CRX's. Yall got all the good stuff! America got shafted! haha iTs all good... When i'm done I'll have that EDM esque I dream about.

Anyway... sick color man. Your car is clean... and I'd rather have a full repaint just in case there isn't a 100% color match. Like the old paint be a bit faded or not blended correctly! Gorgeous CRX none the less... and post some pics of the Torino... I wanna see that beast! :)b
