Sunroof lift lever

Postby aakern » Mon Dec 18, 2017 3:02 am

Hi! This forum has helped me a lot, now it's time to make my first post.

I'm restoring the sunroof on my CRX, and discovered that the plastic lift levers on the rear lift assembly are broken on both sides. Is it possible to replace them, or do I need to replace the entire "gold colored" rear lift link assembly box? Alternatively, is there a good way to repair them? Could a good superglue be enough, some sort of plastic welding? Any input is greatly appreciated :) I'm in the process of taking everything apart and cleaning stuff, following this guide for anyone interested: https://wwwx.cs.unc.edu/~hays/crx/crxsunroof.pdf. The gold colored box with the plastic lever is referenced as 3/A on page 7 in the PDF.
