Thoughts on the new text links?

Postby ohisofly » Tue Jan 10, 2012 4:17 pm

I know crxfisher enabled this feature so it's not like I'm trying to say the world is going to end, just curious as to what other members think of this. I know that I'm late on this but at first I didn't really think of it as a big deal, while I think it looks stupid I've seen plenty other forums with this. But just a minute ago I updated my build thread saw all these annoying blue links. I mean they wouldn't annoy me if they did something useful, but if I wanted to look at a radiator on ebay then I wouldn't be looking at a crx build thread; same thing with antifreeze and walmart. What do you guys think?

I take it the word links are not on the csred template...which is great because they are annoying on other sites.

They were the final impetus for me installing NoScript on my browser.

Yeah, I don't really like them...

I dont get them on the PS3 so no complaints here. :bounce:

Though, I have been on other forums that have them back when I had my laptop and it didnt bother me. Just put the arrow off to one side and scrolled with the directional buttons (dont care to look up the proper term) so the adds wouldn't pop up.
