Is “MISTABONE” still here?

Postby cypressdowns » Thu Jul 30, 2020 10:07 pm

I can’t remember the last time I was on here, but it’s nice to be back to check in. Anyway, I have a question for the gurus (e.g., ‘Mista Bone’, if he’s still around). Does anyone have any knowledge of 2 different HF ECU’s? The ones I’m referring to end in 030 & 020, if I’m not mistaken. I thought one of them corresponded to the Hf “federal”/(49 state?) model, while the other EXU corresponded to the “high altitude” model. *this discussion came up elsewhere, and it’s been years since I’ve even thought about it. Just looking for some clarity. Along with this ECU difference was the more obvious transmission difference, where the Fed has the much “taller” final drive.

Anyone??

Is Mistabone the same guy that goes by transzex on D-Series.org? If so, he is alive and well as of 8-1-2020.
