It has been a long time coming. I will always love CRX's, but this drives like a dream. 2001 Acura Integra Type R #01-1112. Credit for the photo goes to the previous owner.
Since owning the car it has seen:
DSS axles
AC/PS belts (pulley came off at high RPM)
O2 sensors
Mugen shift knob (carried over from the CRX)
2 front tires (205's instead of the hard to find and expensive 215's)
Skunk2 dress up bolts removed and replaced with oem, painted PY
Currently working on:
New seals and hoses throughout the pcv system
OEM ITR muffler paint and install
Out with the JDM junkyard suspension and install OEM ITR suspension
Car still drives like a dream. In it first year, it was taken to the Smokey Mountains and ate up every road it encountered.
The only thing that I think I would change is the JDM front. I have all the USDM parts that came original with the car (with matching vin #'s), so maybe one day I can have it done. I just did not know (I did not do the research) the work that was involved to have the conversion done properly. The JDM front was done properly using an alignment machine/ body shop, so that is the saving grace of acceptance.
I will get update pictures up once the current work is complete.
