In looking for a metal replacement radiator drain plug, Google threw this link at me. A website called YourMechanic.
They state that the drain fails "When there is low oil pressure, coolant is leaking, or the check engine light is on."
????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
Can anyone please tell me how;
A. Low oil pressure would cause the drain to fail?
B. A coolant leak elsewhere in the system would cause the drain to fail?
C. The CEL coming on would cause the drain to fail?
